November
The holidays are in full swing come November with tons of events embracing the changing season and chilly weather. You can celebrate Elvis’s memory at the Graceland Lighting Ceremony and watch as Elvis’s traditional Christmas Lights will be turned on, and even get the chance to meet Santa!
And just when you thought we were getting soft on you, did we mention the Memphis Comic and Fantasy Convention? You might think something like this is just for nerds, but when you factor in events like Harry Potter Universe, Geek Spelling Bee, Lego building contests, a Goth Ball, and much much more, how could you go wrong? Okay, maybe it’s a little nerdy, but you know it sounds like a good time.
December
Of course there are plenty of holiday events in December. One almost every night, in fact. But let’s talk about the St. Jude Memphis Marathon. This is a huge event that has a huge impact on the children of St. Jude in Memphis. Rock and roll music throughout the course, an Elvis impersonator, beer at the finish line, and the best part?
