- Memphis is one of the leading areas for the medical field. In the past, few years the medical field has grown substantially, and now has some of the best hospitals, and medical facilities in the country. This fact is why so many baby boomers are looking, and moving to the Memphis area. Many millennials are flocking to the Memphis area for the higher paying jobs, and the potential to grown with the medical field. Memphis is the home of St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, founded in 1962. St Jude is an amazing hospital that helps many children, and their families every year.
- Memphis is home to the NBA team the Memphis Grizzles. They’re currently in the NBA playoffs. With the Grizzles moving to the city in 2001 they have generated the city more revenue, and created more jobs.
- There are many museums and art galleries to explore in the city. The Art Museum of the University of Memphis showcases the African, and Egyptian collections. There is the children’s Museum, the city’s largest museum is the Brooks Museum of Art that exhibits American, and European art dating back to the renaissance days. Memphis is also the home of the National Civil Rights Museum. In 1968 Martin Luther King Jr was assassinated on this site.

- Home of Beale Street which host Memphis in May, a music festival that brings big names to the city every year. Beale Street is the second most popular entertainment district in America.
