The 8th annual Beerfest will be at the Autozone Park, in downtown Memphis. This is a fun event for ages 21 and over that sells out every year. Whether you are a beer enthusiast or just want to come and try new beers this is the place to do it. Not only is this a fun event, but 100% of the net proceeds go to the Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy.
Rajun Cajun Crawfish Festival
Over 30,000 people attend this free festival every year. Known as the “unofficial start to spring”, this is sure to be a fun filled day with great food, and entertainment.
Beale Street Music Festival May 5-7, 2017
This is the 41st year for the Beale Street Music Festival. This is the largest Music Festival for the Memphis area. Every year people from all over the country come to Memphis to experience the music festival. The lineup will be announced in February, but some of the biggest names in music have performed here in the past. Names like The Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer, John Legend, Fleetwood Mac, Aretha Franklin, and so many more.
World Championship Barbeque Contest May 17-20, 2017
If you are looking to attend of the best cooking competitions in the world, then look no further. This marks 40 incredible years for this event, at Tom Lee Park, in Downtown Memphis, TN. This competition judges on pork, chicken, seafood, sauce, best booth, and T-shirts. The most delicious BBQ from around the country, and some parts of the world participate in this competition, and is sure to please everyone. All ages are welcome at this event, and it will happen rain or shine.

The best of Memphis. The best food, music, and merchandise at Tom Lee Park, Memphis TN. To start the celebration there is a fly over with a 767 jet, which is always a fan favorite. At the end of the celebration there are fireworks that light up the Mississippi River.
